Emergency Medicine Technician – Basic

• Emergency Medical – Basic are the first person to attend a patient and so also known as Life Saver or Paramedics
• Provides emergency medical support and care to individuals who are critically ill or injured and transport them to a medical facility within stipulated time limits.
• Have the ability to perform clinical skills essential in providing basic emergency medical care services such as urgent need to respond the emergency calls, assurance of scene safety, precision to call other emergency people, handling different emergency scenarios from clinical emergency to trauma.
• Can work in Emergency Services, in Hospital, Nursing Home, Airport, Mall, Super Market, School, Industries, Corporates, School, Hotels, etc.

• Equipped with knowledge about the healthcare sector and emergency medical care services, such as Basic Life Support, Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation and other actions in the event of medical and facility emergencies
• Ability to perform clinical skills essential in providing basic emergency medical care services such as urgent need to respond the emergency calls, assurance of scene safety, precision to call other emergency people, handling different emergency scenarios from clinical emergency to trauma emergency to mass casualty to disaster management, etc.
• Setting of an ambulance for dealing with emergency situations and demonstration of safe and efficient transferring and ambulation techniques
  Practice infection control measures and use techniques to maintain the personal hygiene needs of oneself and the patient and Follow right methods of bio medical waste management
• Demonstrate professional behavior, Demonstrate good communication skill, communicate accurately and appropriately in the role of Emergency Medical technician-Basic

• BPT : B.Sc- Health Information Administration
• B.Sc : Health Information Nutrition : B.Sc
• B.Pharma : XIIth with Science

• TOTAL : 400 HOURS ( 2.5 MONTHS)
• CLASS ROOM :100 HOURS
• PRACTICAL : 140 HOURS
• ON JOB TRAINING: 120 HOURS
