What are the registration formalities at the hospital?

  • It is very simple. Please bring any valid Identity Proof and the rest will be taken care by us. If you have got any health insurance, please bring the card and copy of the insurance policy.
  • Please bring your complete Medical History including diagnostics, present medical condition and current medication etc.

If my family is accompanying me, where can they stay?

We normally allow one attendant with the patient . In case you want proper accommodation, our Customer Care Executive will make necessary hotel accommodation arrangements, based on your budget.

Who will be responsible for my stay at Lifetron Hospital and who can be reached for assistance?

At Lifetron Hospitals, your primary consultants and nursing team will be responsible for all your medical requirements whereas all your non-medical requirements will be met by our Customer Care Executive.

Who are the personnel who will meet me at my room apart from the doctors and nurse?

Apart from the medical and nursing care providers, you will meet staff from the Customer Care Executive daily as well as your dietitian and physiotherapist if medically required and the housekeeping staff who will be cleaning your room.

What about tips?

We do not encourage this practice and if you would like to contribute for our staff’s welfare, you can do through the Employee Benevolence Fund. You can contact our staff at Customer Care Executive for more details.

What about food choices? Will the kind of food I prefer be made available to me?

Yes, certainly. We will do our best to prepare and serve you a variety of choices of food as per your preference. However, all dietary prescriptions are subject to your doctor’s advice and appropriate to your health status. We do not permit food from outside to be brought into the hospital. Smoking and alcohol use are forbidden in the hospital premises.

Where do I call to find out the condition of a patient in the hospital?

Please call our Front Desk. We follow Complete Privacy of our Patients. Hence, without understanding your identity, we cannot provide information. We will help you in contacting the attendant of your patient.

What are the patient visiting hours?

Visiting Hours are from 1200 am to 0200 pm and 0700 pm to 0900 pm

Are children allowed to visit patients at Lifetron?

In order to provide a more restful environment for our patients and to prevent infections to the children , we normally discourage visit of children below 12 years. Children must be accompanied by their parents.

Can the room be retained, if the patient is shifted to the ICU?

Attendants need to vacate the room if the patient is shifted to an ICU.

Do you have an ambulance service?

Yes, we have an ambulance service round-the-clock.

How many attendant passes are issued?

To minimize crowding and noise in the patient care area, only one attendant pass is issued per patient. The pass has to be surrendered at the admission counter at the time of the discharge.

Is outside food allowed into the hospital?

We provide food for the patient from the hospital kitchen on payment. Attendants need to make their own arrangements or eat in the cafeteria.

Can we buy medicines or consumables from outside?

All the medicines and consumables are provided by the hospital pharmacy only.

What are the rules for transferring patients to a higher category?

  • Transfer to a higher category is based on the availability of beds. The rates of the higher category transferred to will be applicable from the date of the transfer. For surgical procedures, investigations and other diagnostics you will be charged as per the higher category rate only, from the date of admission.
  • In the case of packages, for transfer to a higher category the total difference in the package charge has to be paid before the transfer.
